And so it begins . . .

SOCCER SEASON is here. Oh BOY!! So practices are on Tuesdays, so yesterday at 4:00 I made up a picnic lunch for us to eat in the car because its pretty cold here. I thought Nyah's practice was at 4:30 but the coach is out of town so we ended up just playing at the park for 45 minutes with Nyah asking me every ten minutes if she could ask "that guy" if he is her coach and I kept saying no, he's not your coach, and she kept insisting he was and I would say no he isn't, and repeat for an hour. Austin's practice was at 5:30, so we went to the other park across town and had dinner in the car- pb&j's, salad, peaches or applesauce. And while Austin practiced the rest of us froze on the playground. Saturday they have games at 8 and 9, so they will probably be cancelled if the weather is bad. Something to hope for I guess. Just kidding, well sort of.

I think it was Jolie's first time in a swing, well, maybe she swung last summer but it would have been when she was like a ragdoll. She had so much fun- giggling the whole time.

Hasn't everyone wanted to do this with their kids? I've added this picture because it has Austin in it and I didn't take any other pictures of him. Olivia loves to swing and slide, and had a great time. Austin and Nyah kept asking me to give them under-dogs, and I had to keep explaining I couldn't do under-dogs with only one hand, having Jolie in my other arm. Darn! I'm not super-mom.

We have my parents to thank for this, um, delightful toy Nyah received for Christmas. When she jumps in them it sounds very much like someone bouncing basketball over and over and over.

I caught her!! In my defense, Jolie is the one who pulled the door closed, and its not locked. And because she dumped out the water dish earlier and Dade had already eaten his food there was no danger of a mess.
