and lots of crooked shots of the carpet, couches, tv, siblings, and my rear end. Aren't you glad I didn't share all that with you?

Where's Jolie?
Excuse the mess . . . it didn't look this way when I put Jolie in our bed for a nap. Must be the result of the 30 minute screamfest before she fell asleep. Which only reinforced the knowledge that she NEEDED a nap. Desperately. Naturally I was a little {ahem} concerned when I came in and couldn't find her. ANYWHERE in the house.

Oh, there she is :)

Happy Birthday to our Jo-Jo!
Jolie's birthday was a week ago. She's 3 years old! Thank you to everyone who sent cards and presents. She had a fun day and all the kids liked playing with the gifts!

Catching up - Ice Skating
I was going through my pictures today and realized I didn't ever post these adorable pictures of Olivia and Jolie. We were at the skate rink for one of Austin and Nyah's lessons a few weeks ago, and Olivia and Jolie decided they wanted to skate too. They did really good walking around in their skates. Olivia is just about ready to start skating on her own. Jolie couldn't keep her balance by herself on the ice, but you would not believe how tenacious she was! Even though she had to have me or Kurt holding her up the whole time she kept trying and trying and trying. Her little feet going nonstop. Oh she reminds me so much of Nyah - so much determination its just oozing all over the place. I better start gearing up for the future now!

Olivia's MRI
Olivia had her MRI this morning - she was nervous, but very brave. We have found out a little of the results, but will know more after we see the oncologist Wednesday. She is already very well-recovered.
Showing off her bracelet and bandaid from the IV.

Trade offs
Two little girls happy and content, playing with each other while Mom is cooking dinner, what could go wrong?
Did you see this coming? I saw it coming, but it was better than all the whining and crying and hanging on me that usually happens while I'm cooking.
