Thanksgiving Weekend

We are so thankful for our family and friends, and the many blessings we have received from our Father in Heaven. We had a lovely weekend around here . . . hope all of you did too!!
Delicious food
Setting up the Christmas tree
Making sure the lights are working
Hanging out in front of the heater - we had some wicked cold weather
PLaying with legos - when I uploaded my pictures I discovered picture #s 16 through 132 were shots of lego contraptions taken by this kiddo. . . busy week!
Time to decorate
Hanging out and watching the sparklies
Can I help?
All finished!
Snow! Snow! Snow!
Crafting
Snow in the dark - woo hoo!

Good Morning!

A typical morning . . . Austin hanging out with Dade (creepy eyes!) and the girls dressing their dolls.
Also, pretty typical for our house is Austin joining in the doll play. Such a good brother.

Snow!

Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow!
I have mixed feelings about this.
I don't like to be cold. But my kids love the snow.

Gale Center

Austin needed to learn about some city history to pass something off for scouts so we headed to the Gale Center. As always they had lots of fun!

On your mark, get set . . .

GO!
Pillow case races, wrestling, and chases - perfect for a dark Autumn evening.

Sophie - 4 months old

Sophie had her 4 month check up this week.

She was 16.88 lbs - 95th %tile and
26.4 inches long - 98th %tile

I'm in trouble

Don't let these adorable girls fool you - they are TOTALLY KICKING MY BUTT these days.
How to drive Mom insane in 10 minutes or less:
Step 1 - Dump out train set
Step 2 - Pull all the winter stuff out of boxes
(what is mom thinking leaving them in reach anyways?)
Step 3 - Run away up the stairs, giggling like mad,
pull all the cushions off upstairs couches and
throw them down the stairs.
Step 4 - Run screaming to the bedroom to hide when she comes storming up after us.
Step 5 - While in the bedroom throw and kick big brother's legos around.
Step 6- Maybe pull some books off the shelves.
Step 7 - Once herded downstairs pretend to sit quietly eating snack.
Step 8 - Jump up from snack every few seconds or so and start kicking train set, and everything else scattered on the floor, around the room.
Step 9 - REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT
When Mom stands bewildered in the middle of the room, staring heavenward with arms raised and yells "Will it never end?" your quest has been successful.
