Hiking with Friends

Hiking Yellow Fork Canyon with Friends - We were planning on hiking with our homeschool group, but several other families ended up lost, so we hiked with the other family who managed to find the right place :)

Sophie wants to do everything by herself so she kept climbing out of the stroller, falling in the dirt, and start walking - often getting run over by the stroller she just jumped out of.  It tooks us a long time to reach the picnic area - 1,000 baby steps longer :)

Yes, he came all this way to READ!

Swim Lessons & Water Safety

With all the time we spend in the water we want to be safe too! The kids have been doing some swim lessons at the new recreation center in our city.

 And this past week the firefighters came to our community pool and did a water safety class.

Guess how well the little ones paid attention?

With my best friend from high school and her 5 kids, 10 kids in all!! Things have really changed since we were 16 and swimming at the city pool!!

By ourselves - this is a great way to spend the evenings when Kurt is working late :)
