New Vacuum

It means there are lots of minions people who want to try it out so I won't have to vacuum for a while.

Tired

We have been so busy and it has left Olivia tired all the time! The above picture is after her recent eye appointment - her vision remains stable around 20/25 and her eyes are both healthy.

And she fell asleep waiting for the dentist. The dentist was concerned so he took her off the nitrous which made the dental work (fixing a couple cavities) a little unpleasant for Olivia. But it's over now - YEA!

NF Awareness Day

May 17th is World NF Awareness Day. I put my CTF shirt on and all the kids had to wear their shirts too! We had a busy day and lots of people asking about our matching shirts!

Jolie had a birthday - Hooray!! 4 years old!

She had a great day. Thank you to everyone who sent her a present or card. She was thrilled to be showered with attention.

Hiking with Friends

We've been on a couple hikes with some friends of ours. Usually we hike into June, but it's already so much hotter this year that I think we'll start playing at a nearby reservoir soon.

Sophie is Miss Independent - she doesn't want to be in a stroller, backpack, or to be carried. She wants to walk by herself and pick up every rock she sees. So she and I are occasionally (often) at odds with each other - her stopping and me urging her to come along.

  

This is the time of year we can watch the butterflies and months "puddling" at the reservoir. The kids like to see how close they can get to the butterflies before they fly off.

Austin & Nyah are really enjoying their soccer seasons. It's always so much fun to watch my kids work hard at something and get better each time they do it. Olivia, Jolie, and Sophie *mostly* enjoy being at the parks for games and practices.
