Pinewood Derby

Tonight was Austin's pinewood derby and he had so much fun. His car did fabulous (especially since it was put together yesterday - kind of snuck up on us :) ). He place 2nd overall, with his best friend Ethan taking 1st - 2 very happy and giddy boys!! And talk about a high tech track!! It was all digital and hooked up to a laptop at the end to keep track of times down to the thousandth of a second. And I know I forgot to mention this, but a few months ago Austin earned his Wolf badge - he is so excited for his birthday so he can start working on his Bear.

Getting his car on the right lane.

Nyah taking a turn pushing the start button. Austin waiting for his race to start with Kurt and Jolie behind him.

Finishing one of his races in first place!
