Let's try some family pictures

It's more like "who will not cooperate while we try to take family pictures." Just as we wanted to take pictures I dropped Sophie - not far and she wasn't really hurt, but she was already grumpy because so many people she didn't know were smiling at her, talking to her, and trying to be her friend. This kind of behavior does not go so well with Sophie. She takes a long time to warm up to anyone. 

How about pictures of the kids?

Sophie was still unwilling to participate - no matter what anyone tried to do to get her attention or make her smile, she pretty much had the same scowl on her face in a "what are you talking to me for?" The camera man's fascinating/disturbing dolphin impression was not successful.
