We were planning on going on a hike with friends, but they were sick. We headed to a favorite park for a picnic instead.
Sophie climbed up all by herself - it was scary to watch!
Looking for a picnic spot
We founda spot in the woods.
My kids spent the whole 10 minutes freaking out about some bug visitors.
So we moved out to the grass.
Sophie found part of a Robin's egg
She tried to give it back (the bird is the black spot to the right of Sophie)
Jolie was thrilled to find some acorn caps
Jolie & Nyah found a duck egg. We didn't know what to do so we brought it home. I'm not happy about it, but we'll do our best to hatch it.
Bird friends
Many of the trees had these beautiful blossoms and winged visitors. They were so much fun to watch.
