Because I love Jane Austen, you should visit my cousin Lauren's blog and watching this fabulous music video she helped make:
Jane Austen is My Homegirl I laughed. A lot.
What am I reading these days?
*Tons of Jane Austen spinoffs - too many to remember or count. I'm a little obsessed. Midnight in Austenland, Mr. Darcy Forever, A Weekend with Mr. Darcy, Dreaming of Mr. Darcy, Compulsively Mr. Darcy, The Importance of Being Emma, Persuade Me, Definitely Not Mr. Darcy, Austentatious, Persuasion: A Latter-Day Tale . . . . . you get the idea :)
*Zoo Story & We Bought A Zoo - I dream of being The Wild Thornberry's.
*I am anxiously waiting to start Anne Frank's Family, which I picked up at Costco yesterday. I'll need many hours so I can read read read the whole book. This is near impossible around here, but I'm thinking Saturday to Sunday, if I can resist the temptation to gobble it up right now.
What am I watching?
*Kurt and I are watching and enjoying Foyle's War.
*Confession: I'm also slightly obsessed with Korean dramas on Netflix. I really don't have any explanation for this.
What am I doing?
*Planning for our next school year. I'm really excited and nervous. We're doing school through a charter school - My Tech High. Austin & Nyah will be doing different classes. It's Olivia's kindergarten year. And Jolie will probably start as well because she can't stand to be left out. My class is about the double. Oh boy!
*Training for the AFCanyon 1/2 marathon - June 24th. I'm at a point in my training where I'm tired of swimming, biking, and running, and can't I just sit on the couch, eat tons of chocolate, and watch Creating Destiny all day long already?! But I'm also a little impressed with myself - I ran 10 miles a few days ago. I wouldn't have thought that possible a few months ago.
*Busy busy busy with my wild & crazy bunch and our summer fun :)
