The Backyard

Some backyard landscaping that we've had going on is finished!

We decided to put in some more grass - I will still have a garden, but with the trouble we have with deer we decided to make it smaller. It will be along the back of our property line.

We put in a permanent area for Dade to do his business. This will keep him from "going" in other areas of the yard. In the dirt area I am planning on planting flowers.
Along the back of our property we put in a few ditches to keep the water from the neighbors' yards from sitting in our yard. Hopefully our grass won't be so wet anymore.

We had a patch of grass replaced - it had settled lower than expected, water pooled here, and it never dried out. The grass wasn't growing well, so hopefully this will be fixed.

Also, under the stairs is out failed attempt at a fountain. We are thinking about what we will try this year. Perhaps some professional help :)
