Hey, where's Perry? - Day 4
We spent the morning at the spa doing the terme baths and having massages. Sorry Perry, no platypi (or pictures) allowed.
Later, we had another training meeting and played in the ocean some more. Last night was the awards dinner for distributors. Nothing terribly exciting, but an overall enjoyable and relaxing day.
And we took some coins back to the mermaid and tossed them in. We had five or six make it into the shell. That's good luck coming your way Austin, Nyah, Olivia, Jolie, & Sophie!!! Love you all!

Hey, where's Perry? - Day 3
We were up early, early (2:30am) to ride to the top of the Haleakala volcano for the sunrise. And we didn't get to see the sunrise because of the clouds, which was a little sad, however the crater was magnificent. The lava flows were different colors depending on which eruption in time they were from. So the valley was incredibly colorful. I also liked looking at the plants- real, native plants instead of the tropical plants associated with Hawaii that were introduced by the early settlers of the islands. And tomorrow was only 80 miles away at the international dateline.
Biking down the volcano was incredible. All the guys were complaining about how slow we were going, but I was happy with the pace. We rode through the big cattle ranch, a eucalyptus forest that smelled wonderful, and a rain storm at the end. We passed pineapple and sugarcane farms. And some crazy guy riding UP the volcano.
We ended with a fabulous breakfast overlooking a golf course - delicious. We went back to our hotel and napped the afternoon away before meeting up with our group for dinner - more delicious food.
Pictures- these will probably post out of order so good luck :)
1- Perry with our blanket riding in the van. My only complaint for the day is I was freezing from the time I woke up all the way to bedtime, even though I was wearing tons of layers.
2- Perry at a look out with the ocean below.
3- Perry and I at another lookout. You may be able to see cows in the background.
4- Kurt and I letting the guide put us in a "romantic pose." A few people asked if it was our honeymoon- ha ha ha.
5- Perry checking out a pineapple farm with fog rolling by.
6- Perry at a memorial for Father Damien who took care of the lepers.
7- Perry at dinner.
8- Perry sneaking through the plants to go to bed early.
Miss you!! Love you all!!

Hey, where's Perry? - Day 2
This is where Perry spent most of yesterday - in the room - while I went to a training meeting, swam in the ocean, ran around in a scavenger hunt, ate delicious food & watched a luau. Every time I left I said, " I forgot Perry!". Kurt just kept laughing at me.
When I went for my run early in the morning I saw this cool snail and thought my kids would like to see it.
And of course I knew my girls would love to see all the mermaid statues. If you throw a coin in her bowl it means good luck. I haven't tried yet. Let you know how it goes :)

This is Halloween, everybody make a scene
Trick or treat till the neighbors gonna die of fright
It's our town, everybody scream
In this town of Halloween.

I really am trying to figure out why Blogger isn't uploading my pictures the right direction. The picture files are taken and saved upright, but when they upload they are sideways. For now, here are some sideways shots.
All ready for our neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat
Austin is the Witch-King, Lord of the Nazgul from Lord of the Rings. I'm quite pleased with how the mask turned out.
Miss Butterfly
Handing out candy with Dad
I was going to include some pictures of our pumpkin carving, but a couple little girls were in their underewear so I won't be posting them here :)
Halloween Night - Olivia & Jolie were so worried about the trick-or-treaters coming that they couldn't possibly look at the camera. Not that they would have been looking anyways.
This is Halloween, this is Halloween
Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
