Summer Time!

Some of the things we've been doing:

Pioneer Day! A Utah state holiday which means more fireworks, delicious food, and hanging out with neighbors.

Olivia's Eye Exam

Last week Olivia had an eye exam and according to the doctor her vision is now "better" than it was last year.  Which really means her vision was not bad and there was bad communication going on last year.  But good news is still good news and we are happy she had a good visit. 

We also had the opportunity to meet with a couple other NF1 families who live here in Utah. They both have boys around Olivia's age. Meet our new friends:

Happy Birthday Nyah!

Nyah's 9th birthday was a few days ago.  She had a great day and deserved to be spoiled rotten by everyone.  Love you Nyah!!

Puzzle Library

Olivia set up a Puzzle Library (Austin and Nyah called it a Puzzle-bary) for us. Everyone happily played with her - some with a little more persuasion than others, but she was delighted.

4th of July - we had a barbecue with our neighbors - lots of delicious food!

And talk about ending with a bang! There was a firework malfunction - it shot into the crowd, landing by Nyah and her friend where it exploded.  Thankfully they had this blanket protecting them. They both had minor burns and the friend's ear was ringing for a few days.  It was scary!
